For Baker Beach coming from Interstate 280, continue north on 19th Avenue until emerging from Golden Gate Park. Then take Crossover Drive to 25th Avenue and follow it to El Camino del Mar. Go left on Bowley Street and right on Gibson Road.

From downtown San Francisco take Lincoln Boulevard southwest to Bowley Street.

For China Beach from downtown San Francisco, take California Street west to 26th Avenue, go north (right) on 26th, and then left on El Camino del Mar.

Ocean Beach is along the Great Highway, west of Golden Gate Park.
